Ghisallo handlebars are, like their legendary rims, made exclusively from selected and aged Slovenian beech. They are laminated and steam-bent to create super strong, beautiful, and comfortable bars.
While these bars seem virtually indestructible, they are not recommended for extreme riding. Competition, fixed gear off road, dirt jumping, etc. are best done with components designed for big air, crashing, and the uncertainties of racing. For those wondering if wood is strong, we can only recommend speaking with someone who has used a wood handled hammer, ice axe, or other tool. The strength is amazing and such tools can last for decades.
The Roby bar weighs about 245g and is best clamped by a stem with smooth, broad surfaces, not small or abrupt edges. Be careful about lever and grip clamp diameters. Not all controls will fit all bars.
